KSL and Len Williams KSL Radio Transcript:

Segment title: Introduction to Altabank

GRANT: Welcome to Altabanking. Weekly business talk geared toward elevating your financial future. Brought to you by Altabank. Len Williams is the CEO and President of Altabank.

GRANT: Len, we’re calling this new Friday show Altabanking, named for Altabank. Now for our audience members who aren’t familiar with Altabank, tell us about yourself.

LEN: Altabank is the new name for the over 100-year-old institution previously known as Bank of American Fork, Lewiston State Bank and Peoples Town and Country Bank.

GRANT: So you’re not a new bank?

LEN: No, we’re not. Talking with clients and perspective clients, we found that our locally oriented names did not represent our breadth and capabilities. So last year, we unified our previous brands under the Altabank name.

GRANT: Your advertising says; new name, same commitment. What does that mean?

LEN: We are the same bank. The same people. The same leadership and the same ownership as before. Our commitment to thoroughly understand our customers and their needs and working to meet those needs is the same, if not intensified. If you’re a customer and you work with a particular loan officer, mortgage officer, had a favorite teller at your local branch before the name change, you’ll work with and see those same people now that we’re called Altabank.

GRANT:  Your focus hasn’t changed either then?

LEN: Not at all. Our bread and butter is commercial business banking and we have strong offerings for consumers and consumers seeking mortgages and mortgage related products. We’re the largest community bank in Utah. We have the same capabilities as the larger regional and national banks. Our previous names did not necessarily represent those capabilities or the fact that our presence extends from Preston, Idaho to St. George.

GRANT: Before we go, tell us about Altabanking?

LEN: Altabank has deep knowledge of the economy and business environment in Utah and the communities we serve. This weekly program is an opportunity to share this knowledge and our expertise with a broader community.

GRANT: Thank you, Len. Len Williams is the CEO and President of Altabank.
