As COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to cause disruptions for individuals, families, and businesses around the world, we want to reach out and share the steps Altabank has taken to ensure the safety and well-being of our communities and help ensure that the impact on your business is minimized.

What We’re Doing

We are doing our part to help slow the spread of the virus. Each branch is working hard to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness.

We are currently purchasing supplies for each location, including gloves for handling cash and disinfecting spray for work surfaces. We are in the process of obtaining hand sanitizer stations for each branch. In the coming weeks you may see other small changes we’re making to decrease risk of infection.

Our Employees

Our employees are what make Altabank special. Each one is an integral part of our team and we’re committed to providing them with a safe environment in which to work.

Our cleaning crews have redoubled their efforts in cleaning and disinfecting our branches. Additionally, our staff has been instructed to remain at home if they’re experiencing symptoms or feeling at all unwell. Employees who suspect they have been exposed to the virus are asked to self-quarantine for 14 days in an attempt to keep the virus from spreading to coworkers or customers.

Our Customers

We have heard there are concerns regarding your ability to conduct business at or with the bank. We want to assure you that the bank itself is in excellent financial shape and remains committed to helping customers with their financial needs.

Use Online Banking

Utilize online banking and our mobile app as much as possible. Online banking allows you to see your account balances, make deposits, pay bills and transfer money between accounts as needed.

If you run into technical problems or need help navigating the system, please contact our Customer Care team at 1-800-815-2265 and we’ll be happy to help you.

Download the Mobile App

If you haven’t already downloaded the Altabank mobile app, you can easily do so through the Apple or Android App Stores.

ATMs and Drive Up Banking

Customers who are uncomfortable going into a branch are encouraged to use our drive ups, which can perform many of the same services as the branch lobby.  In addition, deposits and withdrawals can be processed using any of our ATMs.

Video Tutorials

We are in the process of creating a series of short video tutorials of how to set up online banking and use its features. As videos are released they will be announced on our News page and social media as well as listed in this section.

Branch Closures

We’re dedicated to providing our customers and employees with a safe place of work. In order to do so, we are temporarily closing the lobbies of certain branches.

Any branch closures will be announced here as well as on our social media channels. Signs will be posted on our branch doors to provide you with the address and hours of the nearest open location.

We will make every effort to keep you as up-to-date as possible and appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.

What You Can Do

Follow CDC Guidelines

The Center for Disease Control has issued guidelines to help slow the spread of the virus. The most important thing you can do is to follow their counsel by practicing social distancing and washing your hands frequently.

Stay Informed

Staying informed through reliable sources reduces confusion and anxiety. We encourage you to keep up-to-date with local and national news and announcements. While the Coronavirus is a serious concern at this time, we believe that by following the guidelines given to us by our local and national leaders, we will improve our chances of slowing the spread of the virus.

We thank our local and national leaders for doing what is necessary to slow the spread of the disease. Thank you for being willing to follow the recommendations of our local and national leaders by doing what you can to protect yourself and your loved ones from infection. We appreciate the quick response and frequent updates the CDC provides. We will update customers as the situation evolves.
