Payments may be available as early as January 4th and all payments will be made by January 15th.
If you have an account on file with the IRS from your refund in 2019 or received a stimulus payment earlier in 2020 via direct deposit this payment will come to that same account. If you do not have an account on file with the IRS, a check will be issued and sent to your address listed on your last tax return.
Payments will post to your account automatically based on the information that is sent to us by the Treasury department. You can check your account via our mobile app or online banking.
If you have closed your account and had direct deposit set up, the payment will be returned to the Treasury department/IRS and reissued as a check.
